Emptying Your Bucket
I often feel overwhelmed with emotion when I have lots of things going on.
The notion of emptying my bucket really helps.
Emptying Your Bucket is about offloading some of the stuff that is consuming your thoughts and emotions.
There are two ways I empty my bucket:
Talking to a trusted friend - I need to be able to show up as the mess I am and not worry about them judging me and I also need to do this with someone that knows what I am saying is only the truth in the moment.
Writing in My Journal - emptying my bucket through writing is the easiest way for me as it doesn't require anyone else and I can write whatever I want without fear of judgement.
